Review: Real Techniques Sculpting Brush Set

Now who wants to see some gorgeous makeup brushes?! Urm yes please!!! Look at these beautiful makeup brushes from Real Techniques, the Sculpting Set has been on my mind for a while and saw these on offer in Superdrug for only £13.99 instead of £20.99.
This set has three brushes, a fan brush, a sculpting brush and finally a setting brush which all have gorgeous pink metallic finished handles.

The fan brush is a brush that people may look at and think what in the world is that?! This brush was quite new to me a few months ago but when I saw some Youtube gurus using it I realised how vital it was in a makeup set. This brush is perfect for highlighting which is what I use this beauty for, the soft brush grabs hold of my highlighting and with gentle soft strokes it creates the perfect highlight on my cheekbones. The brush is easy to use and applies product perfectly onto the face creating a natural yet gorgeous effect.

The sculpting brush is a thick sturdy angled brush rather then some flimsy ones that I have come across. The brush has soft bristles that is created to perfectly create that Kim Kardashian contoured look, it is great for the hollows of your cheek as the brush sculpts your cheekbone but I have heard some people say the brush is too dense for powder products but I have not found it an issue and have actually loved it with my bronzer and can imagine it would be great for a cream contour.

The setting brush is a soft small shaped brush that I use for setting my powder around my face and can imagine it being versatile to use with other products such as a contour product or concealer brush. The brush is so soft that it glides along the face easily and when used with my setting powder creates a perfect finish picking up the product with no fuss.

Overall I am really impressed with these and think they are the best Real Technique brushes I have tried, have you tried these or any others from the range?

A xx

These are definitely on my wishlist, now! They're a bit more than what I'd normally pay for brushes but I really love the shape of them, I can definitely get a lot of use out of these!

I definitely found the contour brush to dense for powder products but I'm really pale so I have to be really light handed using any brush. It's amazing for cream products! It's good for foundation too. xxx
