OOTD: Vintage Summer Dress

How are you all? I loved the hot weather!! Now its gone I feel summer is over and I cant wear my favourite dress' such as this gorgeous vintage dress! This dress was picked up at a vintage fair. I love vintage clothing, especially 50s dress'. My papa was very generous and offered to give me money towards two that I fell in love with as I had been on a spending ban for months and am saving for a house.

I spotted a dress I loved but it was too small, my mama said for me to ask the lady if she any sized 8/10 that could fit, I asked specifically for 50s style and she pulled out this one and another stunning dress which I will show in another OOTD.

This dress is cotton and has a frill white trim going down the front with lemon coloured buttons. It has a zip fasten going down the back. The dress is a perfect with a beautiful shade of lemon stripes on a white background. It can be worn with a belt around the waist and can be dressed up or down. What I love about vintage is they are classic and can worn year after year, they are beautifuly made and keep in good condition. This dress was originally £35 but I knocked her down to £60 for two dress'. I feel this is a bargain and will be a treasured item within my wardrobe. Have you bought any vintage? This is an outfit that I have worn to work and for a general day out and about. The outfit is one that always works for me, the shoes are high but I manage as am a lover of high heels. The trousers are silk and were from Next, they are easy to wear and feel so comfortable, they are wide at the top but teamed with a skinny vest top from Tesco means it shows my waist so gives a curvy effect.

Ooh I love fashion! The look of clothes, the feel, the colours! Its like a sweet shop! I have some items on a wish list...sooo much but I narrowed it down to only a few items!

Love this gorgeous peplum top with leopard print belt! I have a black version, but would love this colour! It is gorgeous! Teamed with a black pencil skirt and skyscraper heels! £25.00.

I love the sophisticated look of these shoes, have always loved pointy shoes, they make me feel like I am glamorous!! The style of these are divine with the gold heel and detail down the side. River Island £50.00.

These brushes are so sweet! They are from Topshop and are by Louise Gray who is collaberating. Love the mint green! £32.00, a little pricey but look great! Not sure how they feel but from Louise Gray I imagine they would be fantastic.

This has to be my favourite piece at the moment!! A quilted leather biker jacket!! Oh my days! I love biker jackets and havent seen one like this before and i want one!! £44.99 from New Look.

Lastly crucific knuckleduster ring! Have seen many of these but not with the added sparkle which you can never go wrong with! Accesorize £7.00.

Clothing haul!!!

So part two of my shopping day purchases from my man!! Lucky me i know! Now wont be clothes shopping for months!! Need to save the pennies.

Firstly I went to New Look and clocked a pair of trousers!! Gorgeous pink with polkadot! £29.99!

Then I strolled to Topshop and saw some gorgeous items!! Was very pleased to find a leopard print sheer shirt for £32, a green pleated maxi skirt for £30 and my favourite item a grey/blue skirt with my favourite hem that is longer at the back! Finally got my hands on a dress with it!! Always found they were too short at the front but this is perfect!! £40!!
