Review: BB Beauty Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner

I was lucky enough to be sent the BB Beauty Brunette Intense Shampoo and Conditioner. I struggle to find a shampoo and conditioner that wows me and was intrigued to see how these would work as they are meant to improve the brighten your hair whether coloured or natural.

BB shampoo, Best shampoo for dry hair, Best shampoo for damaged hair, Best hair products, Beauty review, Hair awards,

I have a little love for the tube bottle packaging, it is easy to get the product out, you will for sure use all the product up. The packaging is a bronze effect with clear labelling, I love the colour! Imagine if it was rose gold! I have trialled these for one month and used them in every wash, I then waited to use another product for a couple of weeks to see the difference and I did see a difference believe it or not. When I started using the product my favourite feature was the scent, it is so delicious and would enjoy washing my hair because of it. I am not great at describing it but it reminds me of flowers, your favourite sweet and holidays all rolled into one without it being overpowering. The product is brown and can be annoying if you get it on the bath but don't wash it off straightaway.

BB shampoo, Best shampoo for dry hair, Best shampoo for damaged hair, Best hair products, Beauty review, Hair awards,
After a couple of weeks I noticed my hair was brighter, I had a comment from a work colleague on how shiny my hair was! I never get comments like that about my hair!
The conditioner states it "infuses smooth, silky feel to dry or damaged hair" whilst the shampoo "rehydrates, softens and smoothes dry or damaged brunette hair".
My hair felt silky and I felt my coloured hair looked in better condition. I used both the shampoo and conditioner, they complimented each other, the shampoo lathered well, whilst the conditioner left a silky feeling on my hair, I didn't feel the need to use my hair oil!

BB shampoo, Best shampoo for dry hair, Best shampoo for damaged hair, Best hair products, Beauty review, Hair awards,

I would highly recommend these and am waiting to get my hands on another lot as these have made my hair look and feel better, silky, brighter and generally happy.

Makeup Revolution Palette Review

Who hasn't heard of Makeup Revolution? A brand that is affordable and who create a fantastic range of makeup. I received this Makeup Revolution palette from my lovely friend Ashley from Beauty Waterfall. I opened this palette with excitement as Makeup Revolution always know how to deliver.  The palette is called the Salvation Palette- Welcome to the pleasuredome and consists of 12 shades with a slight shimmer and then 6 matte shades. I like the variety of nude and bright colours, they all compliment eachother well. The pigmentation is so good and on par with some high end eyeshadows.

You can create many looks using these colours, from a smokey eye to a simple sweep of shadow to create a gorgeous nude eye look. The matte shades are super matte which I love and the shimmery shades do not have large chunks of glitter so it doesn't look in your face. I would highly recommend this palette which retails at only £6.00! Isn't that amazing! Such good value for money.

I would highly recommend this product. Have you tried this palette or any other Makeup Revolution palette?

Review: Anastasia DipBrow Pomade and Brush #12

Anastasia DipBrow Pomade, Anastasia dipbrow review, Anastasia brush review, Best eyebrow product, Anastasia brush #12, cult beauty

I have decided to take the plunge and try out the well loved Anastasia DipBrow Pomade and brush #12. This product is loved by many bloggers and youtubers. Anastasia Soare known as the founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills is seen as an eye and brow expert who has worked with many famous stars such as J-Lo.

This product comes in many shades which is amazing as I dont tend to see many shades when it comes to eyebrow products. Anastasia DipBrow Pomade is a creamy product that sets as a powder, you don't need a lot of product to give a beautiful defined eyebrow. I use the shade dark brown which just about suits me with my skin tone and dark brows. I used to hate my eyebrows as back in the day it was all about thin brows where as me being Italian I had no option, my brows are bushy and thick! So thank the Lord its about thick brows now, Alleluia!

My brows now take about 2-3 minutes, the brush is a small angled brush with a mascara style end to help brush your brows to perfection. The angled brush applies the product with ease and precision. The brush and product are literally like husband and wife joined in matrimony they work perfectly like a team. I would highly recommend this and hope that more products become available in the UK.

Review: Pouty Lipzz

At the moment I find celebrities seem to be all about the pout, the huge lips but what they seem to not get quite right is that they don't look natural, personally the more natural the more beautiful so here is a product to help achieve a natural pout.

Pouty Lipzz  is a new brand which has come to the UK. Pouty Lipzz's is a clear, fragrance free lipgloss in a sleek tube which is meant to make lips "look instantly more contoured, plumped, fuller and moisturised".

Pouty Lipzz states that it can give up to 40% more volume when applied three times a day for 29 days.

What I love about this product is that it doesn't hurt, it makes me feel awake and minty fresh but in no way does it irritate or cause pain so its a winner. Whether I got a 40% improvement on my volume I got to say I couldn't tell by how much in percentage wise but after 2 weeks I have found that I prefer to wear this gloss on top of lipstick to help create a Kylie Jenner lip look, it helps give me a natural pout to give any lip filler a run for its money!

Available at www.poutylipzz.co.uk for £19.99.

Review: Eye Of Horus Eye Pencil

Hi beautiful readers,

Today is a review on *Eye Of Horus eye pencil in Scarab Sapphire Goddess Pencil. This pencil has a deep blue soft textured pencil with a smudger at the other end to help give that smokey eye look. I have fallen in love with felt tip liners and therefore have not used a pencil for quite some time. I applied this on my lower lash line and used the smudger to smudge the pencil to soften the look. The colour is an intense blue which looks black on intial application, its a stunning colour that gives an exotic look. The colour lasts all day without streaming, it is such a soft pencil and glides on easily. I found the smudger a god send, helping me create smokey looks in seconds.

Review: Derma V10

Hi Loveys!

*Here is a review of some scrumptious products I was lucky enough to review.

Derma V10 Body butters in Mango and Vanilla

Available from Home Bargains.

These body butters smell divine! I haven't stopped using them, hence why there isn't much product in the pictures below! They are rich and buttery, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple. Both smell exactly like the scent they say they are, vanilla smells sweet, mango smells like a Caribbean island! The scents last so long, I get comments whenever I wear them.

Derma V10 Rescue Oil

£1.00 from Poundland!

Derma V10 Rescue Oil states is an oil to help with ageing, scar tissue, blemishes, treatment and prevention of stretch marks, after sun treatment, before, during and after pregnancy, and dry dehydrated skin.

The oil can be massaged in or used as a bath oil, it contains Peach Kernel, Evening Primrose and Almond oil to name a few of the ingredients.

The oil has a nutty scent, it sinks into the skin without leaving an residue, I have a scar on my right arm and have used this oil on that area, it leaves my skin super soft. I haven't noticed it reduce but then I have had the scar for over 20 years! I love using this on my dry areas, it certainly moisturises on a deep level so if you suffer from dry skin this would be amazing for you. I would say this product is great for a skin treatment.

Review: theBalm Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Loveys,

Here is a review featuring one of my favourite beauty brands- theBalm.

theBalm is a fabulous company founded by Marissa Shipman in 2004, today I am featuring Shady Lady eyeshadow palette.

The palette contains 9 eyeshadows which are great for both day and night, the shades are a mixture of shimmer and matte, from taupe to a deep aubergine. The palette is a handy size for the handbag with a great mirror to allow you to add some on the go with each eyeshadow having a name and description of how you can use the shadow, so the top 3 shades in the far left corner are seen as "shadow/liner" and the rest are seen as "shadow" so its showing you that you can use all shades as an eyeshadow with some as eyeliner too, so a two in one product.

Here is a list of the eyeshadows and swatches below.

Feisty Felicia
Caught in the act Courtney
Shameless shana
Insane jane
Mischievous marissa
Just this once Jamie
Envious erin
Devilish Danielle
Luscious lani

Here I am wearing luscious lani as the base with mischievous marissa in the crease and just this one Jamie for the edge of my eyelid.

The pigmentation is beautiful, I love the shades, I think I will need to wear a primer as I found that the shadow did slide away after a while. The eyeshadow looked gorgeous on, wish the pictures showed the colours more!

Review: Trusted Health Products AM and PM Moisturiser

Hello Loveys!

I got to admit I am struggling with writing regularly on my blog, I am in the process of buying a house and planning a wedding! Crazy times! But here is a little review I have managed to get written up for you lovely lot.

trusted health products, moisturiser, review, skincare, anti aging, no parabens, olive oil, american skincare, beautiful, avocado oil, healthy
I was lucky to get contacted by the Trusted Health Products company who sent me a personalised AM and PM moisturiser, a skin treatment. This treatment is for both men and women and can be personalised to Beautiful for women and The Man for men. It comes in a 0.5oz bottle with 360 drops per bottle according to Trusted Health Products. It states it has 3 steps,

"Apply" where you place 2-3 drops on each cheek 1-2 times a day gently spread over your entire face for the first few weeks which can also be used as a makeup remover.

"Detox" where is helps unclog pores, naturally removes toxins and detoxifies your skin from all what is thrown at our skin which will take up to 30 days to achieve.

"Thrive" where most people notice a difference, where it will take place of "anti-aging creams, firming creams, makeup removers and moisturiser" this is a huge statement don't you think?!

I have used both AM and PM for a month now and feel like my skin is brighter, with less blemishes. I did breakout like it stated it could do for the first couple of days, I was scared I would have more as my skin is combination and with an oil based product I was worried it would make my skin go into overdrive but it didn't.

trusted health products, moisturiser, review, skincare, anti aging, no parabens, olive oil, american skincare, beautiful, avocado oil, healthy

AM Moisturiser contains the following 100% pure botanical oils of almond, orange, lemon, avocado and olive.

PM Moisturiser contains the following 100% pure botanical oils of almond, lemon, evening primrose oil and apricot.

The scents remind me of a spa where you can smell pure oils that relax and rejuvenate. They contain no parabens, preservatives, petrochemicals, GMOs, fragrances, dyes, synthetic ingredients or additives. Wow now that's a good list bad guys that aren't included in these bottles of beauty.
I find my skin is feeling better and looking better, clearer, and brighter and I look forward to keep using them to see further results.

For a limited time, the manufacturer is willing to offer my readers one FREE bottle. They said they would love to have our readers try out Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer (for women) or You’re the Man A.M. Moisturizer (for men) and agreed to send one bottle FREE if our readers would pay a minimal shipping and handling charge. This is a one-time only offer!  They also agreed to include 2 eye-opening reports – The Poisons You Put On Your Face Everyday and Why Your Skin Care Products Have Never Worked: The Truth Revealed .”  That’s a total value of over $40.00. Review: Yves Rocher Eau De Toilette

Hello Loveys,

How are you all? Its been a while since I have blogged, I have struggled with juggling everything so had to put my blog to the back of my mind but it is very much a loved part of my life and was itching to get back into it!

Todays post is a review on the *Yves Rocher L'eau Moment de Bonheur a delicate floral fragrance with notes of Centifolia Rose and apple, with a base of Virginia Cedar. The fragrance is described as being "modern and sparkling" which to me means it is a pretty floral but a pretty fragrance for a modern woman.

Review, Blogger, Yves rocher, perfume, apple perfume, rose perfume, pretty, summer, fresh smell, green, rose, beauty, makeup review, Baobella

The bottle is basic, a square shaped clear bottle with a simple green title which matches the green intriguing liquid inside. I spritz this perfume on my skin and found it was fresh yet girley, you can definitely smell the apple and I found it lasted throughout my busy morning. I found it reminded me a lot of the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and DKNY Apple perfumes, the scent is sweet yet not overpowering.

Review: KIKO Lipstick

Hello Loveys,

Its been a rainy day in these parts of the UK, and its summer! I have a review for you today on the KIKO Lipstick, an Italian brand that have recently come to the UK.
KIKO, Italian, Pink, Gold, Lipstick, Creamy, Pigmentation, Colour, Cheap, Highstreet, Review, Swatch, Lips

The lipstick I chose was from the Life In Rio Exotic range which they released for spring summer. The range is bright and bold with a mixture of corals and pinks with gold metallic packaging, and as per usual I chose the pink- Voluptuous Pink. This lipstick is moisturising, it is creamy and has great pigmentation. I applied this and instantly fell in the love with the bold colour and the glide on creamy formula, it needed reapplying like most lipsticks, but is a lipstick I will be using again and again over the next few months.

Here is a swatch of the lipstick, such a pretty pink that can be built up to a deep colour that leaves your lips soft and dreamy.

Review: Makeup Revolution Blusher and Highlighter!

Hello loveys,

So if you haven't already heard here is a new makeup brand on the scene Makeup Revolution, a brilliant affordable brand so on the bandwagon I went.

I purchased the powder blushes in Hot! and Treat! which is only...wait for it.....£1!! Hot powder blush is a hot shade of pink, bright and gorgeous, perfect for summer whilst Treat is a beautiful coral shade. The only thing that isn't great is the packaging which is quite flimsy and the lid can break away with ease but for £1 I am not going to complain. I swatched the blushes and couldn't believe the pigmentation so got straight to applying them to the apples of my cheeks, they applied with ease and you don't need a lot at all! I love that they are matte, I would highly recommend these as they are beautiful and feel high end rather then highstreet.

The next product is the highlighter in peach lights, a pretty highlighter that yet again is amazing for only £3.00, it has flimsy packaging but amazing pigmentation. Again, you don't need a lot and a little goes a long way. I adore this shade, it has a hint of peach running through it that highlights your cheekbones and brow bones beautifully, you also get a lot for your money! I would highly recommend this.

Review: Karora Instant Tan

Hi Loveys!

Todays review is on the *Karora Instant Tan Wash Off which retails at £12.99. I am starting to become a fan of fake tan and was pleased to be able to discover a brand that was new to me. Karora have various different types of tanning products but I am testing out the wash off version, and to me wash off literally means it will wash off in an instance, here I am imagining orange drops running in the bath!

Karora, Self tan, fake tan, Karora review, Argan oil, Review, Instant tan, swatch, test
I opened the bottle and squeezed a small amount on my arm, my golly gals be careful it is alarming at first as its so dark and when I was rubbing it in it didn't seem to sink in at all so just use a little! So off I trot to wash it off and start again this time using a smaller amount and found it rubbed in nicely, the product is shimmery so if you prefer a matte look I wouldn't recommend this.
The product smells just like chocolate! It contains "pure active botanicals" such as Grape extract, Chestnut extract and Argan oil, being an ingredient Karora loves to use. All these ingredients are great for your skin which help provide nourishment.

Karora, Self tan, fake tan, Karora review, Argan oil, Review, Instant tan, swatch, test
I did notice an instant tan but found it looked quite orange so it isn't a product I personally would buy again but can see why people would enjoy using it, its easy to use and does give an instant tan to the skin, it definitely left my skin feeling soft, another bonus with this product is how quickly it comes off, I popped in the shower and boom off it came instantly, but with this I would worry about being caught in the rain!
