Review: Derma V10

Hi Loveys!

*Here is a review of some scrumptious products I was lucky enough to review.

Derma V10 Body butters in Mango and Vanilla

Available from Home Bargains.

These body butters smell divine! I haven't stopped using them, hence why there isn't much product in the pictures below! They are rich and buttery, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple. Both smell exactly like the scent they say they are, vanilla smells sweet, mango smells like a Caribbean island! The scents last so long, I get comments whenever I wear them.

Derma V10 Rescue Oil

£1.00 from Poundland!

Derma V10 Rescue Oil states is an oil to help with ageing, scar tissue, blemishes, treatment and prevention of stretch marks, after sun treatment, before, during and after pregnancy, and dry dehydrated skin.

The oil can be massaged in or used as a bath oil, it contains Peach Kernel, Evening Primrose and Almond oil to name a few of the ingredients.

The oil has a nutty scent, it sinks into the skin without leaving an residue, I have a scar on my right arm and have used this oil on that area, it leaves my skin super soft. I haven't noticed it reduce but then I have had the scar for over 20 years! I love using this on my dry areas, it certainly moisturises on a deep level so if you suffer from dry skin this would be amazing for you. I would say this product is great for a skin treatment.

Review: MAC Angel Lipstick

Hi Loveys,

Here is my review of the famous Kim Kardashian favourite MAC Angel lipstick. This is a frost finish meaning it is slightly glossy, moisturising, with a shimmery colour. The colour is not long lasting like the matte finishes but still it wears well. The shade Angel is loved by Kim Kardashian, it is a lip colour but better if that makes sense! It is such a pretty nude that would look gorgeous with a smokey eye!

This lipstick is one that I know will be added to ever growing favourite lipstick list! Literally I have a huge favourites list! Have you tried this lipstick? If so what did you think? What is your favourite MAC lipstick?

Review: Cheap Skincare! Lacura skincare

Hi Loveys!

*So here is a review I am excited to write, a review that screams cheap but blimin cheerful! This skincare range is available in Aldi, a supermarket in the UK which also has stores in Europe.

Aldi, Skincare, Review, Cleanser, Moisturiser, Cheap, Bargain, Spotty skin, Oily, Magnolia, BioEcolia, Pretty, Skin, Face mask, Gel wash, Exfoliator
Clear Effect Daily 3 in 1 Cleanser, Exfoliator and Face mask
This gentle everyday use cleanser is now a firm favourite in my skincare collection, its handy 3 in 1 use means no fussing over products and the fact that it is £2.99 means it is a must have!! When I first used the cleanser I fell in love instantly with the fresh yet floral scent, it has a creamy white formula with tiny little blue balls that act as the exfoliator. I now use this cleanser everyday after the removal of my eye makeup, it is so gentle that it acts as a cleanser and exfoliator in one. The face mask is a gentle mask that adds a glow to the skin, it balances the skins natural oils and I felt it was gentle enough to use 2-3 times a week. This product contains Magnolia and BioEcolia which helps "protect and strengthen the natural and biological defence system of the skin, helping to create a more even and radiant complexion. I would agree that it gives a radiant complexion, I love the fact it helps protect and strengthen the skin as this would help with anti-ageing, and as I am nearly 29 I can start to see the signs of ageing- literally could sob after writing that sentence! I would highly recommend this product.
Aldi, Skincare, Review, Cleanser, Moisturiser, Cheap, Bargain, Spotty skin, Oily, Magnolia, BioEcolia, Pretty, Skin, Face mask, Gel wash, Exfoliator
Clear Effect Daily Gel Wash
This gentle gel wash is a blue non sticky gel that you apply to the skin then circulate around the skin and wash off. I tend to steer away from gel washes as have found them sticky in the past but this formula is creamy and moisturising, I was shocked at how well it cleaned my skin, I applied this and as I was rinsing my skin I could see the foundation and dirt swirl around my skin, gross I know! It states it "thoroughly removes impurities and makeup to reduce shine and greasiness", this sentence is how I would describe it! My skin has gone in oil overdrive lately so this range has been helping to control this. This product also contains BioEcolia and Magnolia, it has the same fresh yet floral scent as the 3 in 1 cleanser. £2.99.

Clear Effect Mattifying Moisturiser, Clear Effect Soothing Night Cream and Tinted Moisturiser

I thought I would add these all in the same section as they similar products. All three creams are moisturising and light, the night cream is slightly thicker but not too heavy which I like. The day cream has Magnolia and BioEcolia meaning it protects the skin and creates "immediate mattifying effect with 24 hour moisture" I would agree you do instantly get a matte skin appearance, but I am not sure that it moisturises for 24 hour, for me, as felt that by the evening my skin was ready for my makeup removed and for some night cream to be applied. The night cream contains active ingredients of balloon plant echium and sunflower oil to "sooth stressed out skin and promote suppleness overnight". I would agree, this cream didn't send my skin into oil overdrive that some can do and it calmed my skin, making it feel soft and moisturised! The tinted moisturiser again isn't too thick, its a subtle tint that adds a lovely glow to the skin, it isn't greasy and lasted quite long, it isn't something I would purchase as such as I am one to want to full coverage, but if you are looking for a tinted moisturiser that will give a light coverage and will make your skin feel super soft then this is for you! Each cream is again £2.99 an absolute bargain!!

Have you tried this range or anything else from the Lacura range?

August favourites!

Hey guys!

Hope you are all feeling fine and dandy! Thankyou to all my new followers! Lovely to meet you and thankyou for the comments. So todays post, I thought I would do a monthly favourites, this could cover books, films, tv, food, music, makeup, fashion etc....how does that sound? I struggle to put the pictures where I would like them...any tips anyone?Well here goes my first one! In no particular order.

MAC Woodwinked
MAC Woodwinked

August favourites!

My August Favourite eyeshadow is MAC in Woodwinked. This shade is fab for day and night. For the day I use it alone with some black or brown smudged liner. For the night I use this as a base with either a copper shade, dark brown or purple! It has a sheen to it, it appears darker in the pot then what it does on my skin as you can see. This has been my favourite this month as it is lovely for the summer with pink lips.

For my hair I am loving Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical! This scent reminds me of Malibu!! Yum! I am nearly running out so for my next can I will try a different scent as heard they have made more!! The packaging is as always funky with a retro feel which I like. I am also happy that they have got this larger cans now as the little ones didnt last that long with using it daily to add volume (no I am not a grease monkey!lol). Also for my hair I have been loving the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi wild ginger sea spray. This spray is fantastic at adding volulme and giving my hair a tousled feel! The packaging is simple and the scent is divine!

For my skin I have been loving the Collin Resultime Regenerating Collagene Gel. I apply this gel before my moisturiser, it slightly tightens and keeps my skin feeling soft! A clear gel wiht a floral scent which I love. You can also use this gel as a face mask if you apply it thicker and leave, I am yet to try this! The packaging is brown and white, not great but then I am a sucker for nice packaging! Think they could improve this! But anyway this isnt a review is it its my august favourites!!lol! Back to what I should be doing! Guys this is a favourite that I have used everyday since recieving it in my Glossybox. Also my favourite at the moment is my ultra cheap moisteriser that I purchased a this month, I did a haul post featuring this. It will last me ages as you only need a little bit, I love the fresh cucumber scent and how it leaves my skin moisturised all day, my must have!

For my lips it is MAC Kinda Sexy! This is a coral/nude shade that looks great for summer teamed with bronzer! This is great daywear lippy! I think this would suit any skin tone. As always love MAC packaging! I could rave about MAC all day. But yep this is my favourite lipstick of this month.
My favourite scent is Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood, this scent is floral with a hint of a sweet that I cant for the life of me know but it definately reminds me of it! I have literally got tiny drops left, sad face. As always with my perfumes I seem to misplace the lid! How I dont know! But it is a round gold lid. Love the name of this! So this has been my favourite scent.

My favourite piece of jewellery is my Thomas Sabo purple ring! I chose this ring for my 21st from my grandparents and means a lot to me. I love statement jewellery and this certainly makes a statement! I love Thomas Sabo and have many pieces but this is my favourite! It is so sparkly! Picture does not give it justice.

Hope you enjoyed my August Favourites! Any comments are appreciated! I love to hear what you all think and reply to each and everyone! Thank you!!
