September Glossybox!

Hi everyone! Today I am going to review my September Glossybox.
This months Glossybox had mixed reviews, not my favourite box but still I was pleased!

The box was very pretty, pastel shades with a beauty themed pattern designed by freelance illustrator Maggie Li.

In my box I recieved the following.

Lady Gaga perfume- this perfume is a sweet scent, it states it is "an opulent, crushed floral fragrance thats black like the soul of fame but transparent once airborne". It is a black liquid that becomes clear, cant say I see this as the packaging is black! But the scent is lovely with the label stating its "tears of belladonna, crushed heart of Tiger Orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops". Wow what a description! thats one way of putting it! It definately smells of apricot and honey! I really like the scent but it didnt seem to last long at all.

7/10.

Vichy Idealia Day Care Cream- this cream has a pretty pink formula that smells of roses. It left my skin radiant and soft! Love this! It feels silky and glides on easily. You only need a little which i applied in the morning, it appeared to make my skin glow and my foundation sat lasted with this cream, no need for finishing spray!

Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum and 5 minute facial- these intrigued me as I had heard a lot about snake serum. I did not like the snake serum sample packaging with a black snake on it! Put me off! But when I applied it it was fine, nothing bit me!! It went on well and wasnt sticky, it made my skin feel taut and like I had recieved a spa treatment. Would I buy this again? No as it didnt wow considering the price tag of £29 for 10ml! But on the other hand the 5 minute facial did, it is a clay mask that you can apply once a week. It left my skin feeling soft like a babies bum! I need something quick and this literally was on and off in 10 minutes which suited me. My skin still felt smooth in the morning as i applied this before bed.

Serum= 5/10
Facial=9/10

Maghrabian oil- this states it is "nutrition, hydration, conditioning, softness, shine and long term vitality". It certainly smells divine! Morocco springs to mind when I smell this oil, spices and fruit! It was easy to use, yet I was worried it would make my hair oily! But instead it made it shiny and glossy, my hair looked in such good condition! It was as though i had just coloured it (my hair goes shiny and looks conditioned after its dyed!) I was impressed! It contains Argan oil which a lot of bloggers have said is fab so this was my first experience. I wonder if olive oil would be just as good? As this is £24 for 100ml! I will test it!

9/10.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream- I am a fan of Balance me products after trying a lip salve. This eye cream did not let me down with a scent of flowers and oranges it was lovely to apply as I felt "clean" wierd statement I know! But the scent is fresh and the cream is refreshing. The cream is smooth and easy to dab on my bags! It made my eye area soft and cool. The packaging is easy to the eye and crisp. I loved this eye cream but it is a bit pricey for me £20 for 15ml.

9/10.

So all in all I was pleased with these products. Have always loved my Glossyboxes lets hope nexts months is just as pleasing.

Do you get them? If so what do you think? And if not what other beauty boxes do you use?

Glossybox august!

Hi!!
So i recieved my Glossybox the other week and have been trying out the goodies! Yet again I wasnt let down and got so excited unveiling the gorgeously (is that even a word?!) wrapped box.

The theme this month was "International Superstars" so products from around the world. In my box I recieved the following items.

Deep cleansing oil by DHC. This product states it is "a water-soluble cleanser that is better than any other make-up remover you've ever tried." Now thats quite a bold statement to make! I was a little worried as thought the product would make my combination skin type greasy and oily, but it didnt! It has a light herby scent that feels gorgeous on the skin, you put it on dry skin, massage in then rinse. It is fab I have to admit, but I wouldnt say it is the best ever as I still end up with some makeup on which goes onto the towel I use. Still a good cleanser though, maybe I need to work it more into my skin. 7/10.

Alessandro pro white polish. This product states it is a "Optically brightening effect nail polish with anti-yellowing formula for radiant white and gleaming nails".
I put this on my nails the other day, it was easy to put on and it did appear to make my nails look healthier. They appeared brighter and healthier. It goes on like a clear nailvarnish. One thing I will say is it really smells strongly of nailvarnish!!! More then most polishes! 8/10.

All for Eve for the Eve appeal Eves balm. This states "Eves balm is an easily absorbed recovery balm to nourish chapped skin".
This product instantly reminded me of Elizabeth Ardens 8 hour cream. It smelt similar and gave me a similar effect. The balm nourished my lips and i also used it on my heels. My lips felt moisterised and soft, though my heels were still dry it took the "edge" of the dryness away for a short period. 5/10.

Vera Valenti L'ombre a Paupiere Margarita eyeshadows. This palette states it is "offering a selection of ten different colours with an applicator included". I have to admit I wasnt overly impressed with this. The applicator did not apply the shadows well, the colours did not have much pigment and did not last long. The colours were tones of green and browns with a highlighter. Was not impressed. 2/10.

Lipcote states its the "original lipstick sealer and secret of long lasting, feather fade and water resistant lipstick". This certainly works, my lipstick lasted long and had lasted through my cup of tea and biscuit treat when normally the particular brand of lipstick I used would not do this. 8/10.

Glossybox, Glossybox lipstick in Glossy Pink. Full size. "Professional beauty lipstick for soft and glamorous lips with a luminous, long-lasting colour".
This is now my favourite brand of lipstick!!! It used to be MAC but boy does this do what it says it does! I applied the lipstick in the morning and after a cuppa, lunch and drinks it was still on!! The colour was gorgeous and my lips felt soft! Definately recommend this! 10/10!!

Hope you enjoyed this months review of Glossybox! See pictures of the products, hope they are either below or above! Am doing this on my phone so fingers crossed! :).

July glossybox! Beauty!

Hi guys!
Hope all is glamorous! I recieved my first glossybox and was so excited!! It did not disapoint! For those of you who arent aware of glossybox its a beautifully wrapped box that has 5 beauty samples, they are a mixture of makeup, skincare and hair products from various brands, you recieve the box every month....and boy am i excited for the next one! Visit www.glossybox.com for more info.

Regenerating collagen gel...

This gel is from collin resultime.....it is a multitasker containing 15 key skin molecules. You can apply this morning and/or evening as a serum under your cream or as a mask. I really like this product, not only does it smell fresh but its not sticky which i find with some gels. It glides on and i feel it gently tightens. I would recommend this product and give it 7/10.

Awapuhi wild ginger texturising sea spray....I LOVE THIS!! Never one to be into hair products this has changed me! Ive added it to straight hair for volume and texture. When i curled my hair i thought id spray a bit on and wow it seemed to add extra bounce and flair! Love it! I would definately recommend this! A gorgeous scent that my boyf loves. 10/10!

Monu extra rich night cream....i havent ever used night creams and so was new to this. The product at first wasnt my kind of scent but then after a couple of applications i loved it-smells like an oriental garden! The product is for dry/sensitive skin. Im combination and feared it would make me oily, but i was pleasently surprised! it glides on and moisturises well, with no oily residue...it has definately grown on me and have noticed my skin looks and feels gorgeous. 8/10.

Jelly pong pong cosmetics lip frosting...my other fav product in the box!! This is delicious! Could eat it! A gorgeous pink colour, that isnt sticky at all and stays on for a long time. Careful when you get the product out though! It spurted on me first time! Sweet smelling and a gorgeous gloss i would highly recommend 10/10.

Kryolan satin powder...lovely product. Reminds me of the Barry M eyeshadows. A peachy colour that dusts on, leaving a summer glow on your eyelids. Lasts and doesnt crease! This product would last a long time as you only need a little, i also use this as a highlighter! 9/10.

And a little extra sample-elizabeth arden visible difference slin balancing cleanser, serum and lotion. As expected gorgeous products. My favourite is the exfoliating cleanser that is gentle on the skin, it has left my skin glowing! Love it! All products smell "clean" and leave you feeling fresh as a daisy! Will purchase these! 9/10.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Any questions please ask! Thanks guys A x
