A lovely summers morning....

Hello Loveys,

I thought I would do a post that I haven't done in a very long time, a blogs version of a vlog. Me and my little boy had a morning walk and explore in a lovely town near us, we explored the great green fields, finding bugs and beautiful flowers. We discovered a barn with lots of history, where the sun burst through the cross shaped windows, you could imagine a medieval banquet taking place, imagine the gowns and fine fabrics swishing through the barn.

I wore my lace dress from H&M and sandals from Primark, the weather was so beautiful considering it was 9 in the morning!

We walked along the canal and spotted some ducklings amongst the still but murky waters. We could smell bacon and burnt toast where people were making breakfast within the canal boats, I would love to have a little weekend break on a canal boat, it seems so tranquil and pretty.

This barn was amazing, I particularly loved the sun bursting through the little windows scattered around. I wasn't sure what this barn would have been used for but it would be amazing as a wedding setting.

I had such a lovely time, I enjoy early morning walks in the countryside, the silence is amazing, it helps me feel calm and takes you away from the madness that is life.

John Lewis Secret Santa!

*Who loves Secret Santa? Me!!

I am very lucky to announce that I am taking part in the John Lewis Secret Santa! This campaign reflects the John Lewis advert where they celebrate the anticipation of Christmas and the joy of giving gifts, which is what a Secret Santa is all about.

The giving part is always what excites me more at Christmas, I already have pretty much completed my Christmas shopping, insane I know! But I literally can not wait, especially with a child it brings back the magic of Father Christmas. I remember looking into my stocking with excitement and then running downstairs to see what was under the tree, I honestly could not wait, then as I got older I would be so excited to see how my family would react when they ripped open the wrapping paper to reveal a gift I had bought them, seeing an expression of happiness and surprise would make my day so to take part in a Secret Santa will be fantastic, yes I know I wont see their facial expression but hopefully they will blog about it so I can read how they feel!

Amber and Rose candle

Today I am reviewing the Amber&Rose scented candle which is a sweet fresh scent that has literally become a favourite of mine and my mama! We love them! The candle lasts hours, 20 hours to be precise, and the scent fills the room, I hate it when candles smell great until they start to burn then you dont smell anything! But not these! They smell during burning and after. They use the purest ingredients which are better for you and the environment. The candle is a one wick candle in a tin and costs only £4.00, I am excited to purchase other scents and types of candles that are available from the range, here is my wishlist!
