Review: Trusted Health Products AM and PM Moisturiser

Hello Loveys!

I got to admit I am struggling with writing regularly on my blog, I am in the process of buying a house and planning a wedding! Crazy times! But here is a little review I have managed to get written up for you lovely lot.

trusted health products, moisturiser, review, skincare, anti aging, no parabens, olive oil, american skincare, beautiful, avocado oil, healthy
I was lucky to get contacted by the Trusted Health Products company who sent me a personalised AM and PM moisturiser, a skin treatment. This treatment is for both men and women and can be personalised to Beautiful for women and The Man for men. It comes in a 0.5oz bottle with 360 drops per bottle according to Trusted Health Products. It states it has 3 steps,

"Apply" where you place 2-3 drops on each cheek 1-2 times a day gently spread over your entire face for the first few weeks which can also be used as a makeup remover.

"Detox" where is helps unclog pores, naturally removes toxins and detoxifies your skin from all what is thrown at our skin which will take up to 30 days to achieve.

"Thrive" where most people notice a difference, where it will take place of "anti-aging creams, firming creams, makeup removers and moisturiser" this is a huge statement don't you think?!

I have used both AM and PM for a month now and feel like my skin is brighter, with less blemishes. I did breakout like it stated it could do for the first couple of days, I was scared I would have more as my skin is combination and with an oil based product I was worried it would make my skin go into overdrive but it didn't.

AM Moisturiser contains the following 100% pure botanical oils of almond, orange, lemon, avocado and olive.

PM Moisturiser contains the following 100% pure botanical oils of almond, lemon, evening primrose oil and apricot.

The scents remind me of a spa where you can smell pure oils that relax and rejuvenate. They contain no parabens, preservatives, petrochemicals, GMOs, fragrances, dyes, synthetic ingredients or additives. Wow now that's a good list bad guys that aren't included in these bottles of beauty.
I find my skin is feeling better and looking better, clearer, and brighter and I look forward to keep using them to see further results.

For a limited time, the manufacturer is willing to offer my readers one FREE bottle. They said they would love to have our readers try out Beautiful A.M. Review: Karora Instant Tan

Hi Loveys!

Todays review is on the *Karora Instant Tan Wash Off which retails at £12.99. I am starting to become a fan of fake tan and was pleased to be able to discover a brand that was new to me. Karora have various different types of tanning products but I am testing out the wash off version, and to me wash off literally means it will wash off in an instance, here I am imagining orange drops running in the bath!

I opened the bottle and squeezed a small amount on my arm, my golly gals be careful it is alarming at first as its so dark and when I was rubbing it in it didn't seem to sink in at all so just use a little! So off I trot to wash it off and start again this time using a smaller amount and found it rubbed in nicely, the product is shimmery so if you prefer a matte look I wouldn't recommend this.
The product smells just like chocolate! It contains "pure active botanicals" such as Grape extract, Chestnut extract and Argan oil, being an ingredient Karora loves to use. All these ingredients are great for your skin which help provide nourishment.

I did notice an instant tan but found it looked quite orange so it isn't a product I personally would buy again but can see why people would enjoy using it, its easy to use and does give an instant tan to the skin, it definitely left my skin feeling soft, another bonus with this product is how quickly it comes off, I popped in the shower and boom off it came instantly, but with this I would worry about being caught in the rain!

Review: Cheap Skincare! Lacura skincare

Hi Loveys!

*So here is a review I am excited to write, a review that screams cheap but blimin cheerful! This skincare range is available in Aldi, a supermarket in the UK which also has stores in Europe.

Aldi, Skincare, Review, Cleanser, Moisturiser, Cheap, Bargain, Spotty skin, Oily, Magnolia, BioEcolia, Pretty, Skin, Face mask, Gel wash, Exfoliator
Clear Effect Daily 3 in 1 Cleanser, Exfoliator and Face mask
This gentle everyday use cleanser is now a firm favourite in my skincare collection, its handy 3 in 1 use means no fussing over products and the fact that it is £2.99 means it is a must have!! When I first used the cleanser I fell in love instantly with the fresh yet floral scent, it has a creamy white formula with tiny little blue balls that act as the exfoliator. I now use this cleanser everyday after the removal of my eye makeup, it is so gentle that it acts as a cleanser and exfoliator in one. The face mask is a gentle mask that adds a glow to the skin, it balances the skins natural oils and I felt it was gentle enough to use 2-3 times a week. This product contains Magnolia and BioEcolia which helps "protect and strengthen the natural and biological defence system of the skin, helping to create a more even and radiant complexion. I would agree that it gives a radiant complexion, I love the fact it helps protect and strengthen the skin as this would help with anti-ageing, and as I am nearly 29 I can start to see the signs of ageing- literally could sob after writing that sentence! I would highly recommend this product.
Aldi, Skincare, Review, Cleanser, Moisturiser, Cheap, Bargain, Spotty skin, Oily, Magnolia, BioEcolia, Pretty, Skin, Face mask, Gel wash, Exfoliator
Clear Effect Daily Gel Wash
This gentle gel wash is a blue non sticky gel that you apply to the skin then circulate around the skin and wash off. I tend to steer away from gel washes as have found them sticky in the past but this formula is creamy and moisturising, I was shocked at how well it cleaned my skin, I applied this and as I was rinsing my skin I could see the foundation and dirt swirl around my skin, gross I know! It states it "thoroughly removes impurities and makeup to reduce shine and greasiness", this sentence is how I would describe it! My skin has gone in oil overdrive lately so this range has been helping to control this. This product also contains BioEcolia and Magnolia, it has the same fresh yet floral scent as the 3 in 1 cleanser. £2.99.

Clear Effect Mattifying Moisturiser, Clear Effect Soothing Night Cream and Tinted Moisturiser

I thought I would add these all in the same section as they similar products. All three creams are moisturising and light, the night cream is slightly thicker but not too heavy which I like. The day cream has Magnolia and BioEcolia meaning it protects the skin and creates "immediate mattifying effect with 24 hour moisture" I would agree you do instantly get a matte skin appearance, but I am not sure that it moisturises for 24 hour, for me, as felt that by the evening my skin was ready for my makeup removed and for some night cream to be applied. The night cream contains active ingredients of balloon plant echium and sunflower oil to "sooth stressed out skin and promote suppleness overnight". I would agree, this cream didn't send my skin into oil overdrive that some can do and it calmed my skin, making it feel soft and moisturised! The tinted moisturiser again isn't too thick, its a subtle tint that adds a lovely glow to the skin, it isn't greasy and lasted quite long, it isn't something I would purchase as such as I am one to want to full coverage, but if you are looking for a tinted moisturiser that will give a light coverage and will make your skin feel super soft then this is for you! Each cream is again £2.99 an absolute bargain!!

Have you tried this range or anything else from the Lacura range?

Topic For Discussion: You are Beautiful....no matter what they say.

Hey Loveys,

Todays post is one that I feel has to be said for all you ladies and gents, a post about the word beautiful.....

According to google search this is what is defined as beautiful,

beautiful
ˈbjuːtɪfʊl,-f(ə)l/
adjective
adjective: beautiful
  1. 1.
pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically.
    "beautiful poetry"

    attractive, pretty, handsome, good-looking, nice-looking, pleasing, alluring, prepossessing, as pretty as a picture;

In the media and in society we see beauty as how someone appears, what they look like, how they dress, how they apply their makeup and style their hair. Beauty is the size you are, are you a pear shape or a petite? Just look at our magazine covers and tell me what you see, what is the message they are sending our way?

Image from Google, so here we see a photoshop picture of Katy Perry looking very thin, clear skin and shiny hair, with the left side of the cover telling us we can lose 5 pounds with a healthy detox, this is all I seem to see on so many magazines, the words "detox", "diet", "lose weight" "get flawless skin and hair", but what is flawless? why should we feel like we have to constantly do these things? Are we not just perfect the way each and everyone of us are?

Image from Google, a very thin, clear skin, no cellulite Rosie Huntington! How did that make me feel when I saw this? Crap to be honest! Then on the cover it says its the body issue, where they have "3 top fat busters", the "5 best bootcamps" and "3 diet swaps", no pressure then!

The media shows us to look a certain way, what would it be like if every celebrity or model were not photoshopped to look slimmer or appear with the clearest skin? When I see those pictures or music videos of women wearing next to nothing strutting around I feel utterly crap about myself, and instantly the pressure starts....I need to lose weight, I need to have thicker longer hair, I need to wear fake lashes to look like them, I need to try and get rid of the cellulite, all these things are unrealistic as no matter what you do you will never look like a photoshopped celeb as they don't look like that either!

If you want to lose weight and tone up you go for it, you can do those things and achieve whatever goals you want because you need to feel comfortable in your own skin, the only thing I would stress is don't try to be someone else, because you are unique and beautiful because you are you. To me the person within the body is more beautiful then anything, a beautiful personality shines out to show beauty on the outside, you can have a Miss World who is apparently beautiful but get to the know that person and they can be the ugliest person you know, because beauty is skin deep.

Age is another factor that the media seem to hang onto, they always say "how beautiful does (insert an older celebs name) look at 50!" yes great I say but then you find out how much plastic surgery they have had and then women of a similar age feel pressured to look younger, to be wrinkle free as that is what the media shows as beautiful at that age! Its not fair, I am not against plastic surgery, if that's what you want go for it, but don't do it because you feel you need to so you look a way the media makes you feel you should look, growing older a natural way is beautiful, that's why I particularly love Gok Wan as he never tries to change how a person looks in terms of weight or how their teeth look, he uses the beauty they already have and just enhances it.

Maybe I am having a rant that others will not agree with, but I honestly want you all to realise that no matter what you are beautiful! And always remember that these celebs have personal trainers, makeup artist, hairstylists and photoshop assistants on tap! Imagine how they would look without all that?

    What are your thoughts?

    A xx
